Reviews and Testimonials Policy

This policy explains how ProvisoIQ collects, checks and publishes reviews and testimonials about its Products. It applies to everything we show on this site, in our Products and in our promotion.

How we collect reviews

We ask for reviews in three ways: the feedback page, linked at the end of every download; one follow-up email to buyers about two weeks after a purchase; and an early-reader program that gives some readers a Product free of charge in exchange for an honest review. Every request asks for an honest account, whether positive or critical.

We publish critical and positive reviews alike

We do not hide, delay or remove a review because it is critical. We may decline to publish a review that contains confidential, client or personal information about others, that is abusive, or that is about something other than our Products, and we apply the same rule whatever the review says.

How we check that a review is genuine

We publish a review only if we can link it to a real submission from a person who used the Product. We keep the original message, the publishing choice and the date it was given. We do not write reviews ourselves, and we do not publish reviews from anyone who works for or with ProvisoIQ, or from their family, unless that connection is stated next to the review.

How reviewers are identified

By default we show a reviewer's role and type of organization, for example "Senior counsel, software company, about 200 people." We show a name and title only when the reviewer chooses that. We may shorten a quote, but we never edit it in a way that changes its meaning.

Connections we disclose

If a reviewer received a Product free of charge, a referral reward or any other benefit from us, or has any other relationship with us, we say so next to the review, for example "Received a free copy." We never give anything in return for a review on condition that it is positive, and we never ask a reviewer to change what they wrote.

Quotes about results

We publish a quote about results, such as time saved, only where our own testing supports it or where we state next to it what readers can generally expect. A single reader's experience is not presented as typical.

Withdrawing your permission

You can withdraw your permission to publish at any time by emailing hello@provisoiq.com. We will remove your review from the site within a reasonable time. Our privacy policy explains how long we keep feedback.

Changes to this policy

We will post any change here with a new effective date.
